“Lovely clean hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

Stayed 2 nights here for a sporting event in Wagga. Lovely clean hotel rooms. Large shower. Warm and cosy with tea & coffee facilitie, toaster and fully stocked mini bar. Check in quick and friendly. Ordered brekky to room for convenience. Hot, fresh and very nice, although a little pricey. Taxi pick up quick and courtesy bus services available from clubs to get home. Great weekiend in Wagga.

Stayed one night 24/5/2912 and was very impressed with the quality of the room, ease of parking, central location and reasonable rate. Free Broadband and a delicious in-room dinner topped off a very welcome break after a long drive. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.Highly reommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in room one.

we stayed here for 2 nights to watch our son march out of the army after his basic training. Very nice room, with the most comfortable beds. mini bar was excellent and room service was great. would definately stay here again.

Stayed for one night on the driver from Syd to Adelaide. Had a family room with 2 singles in the main bedroom and a seperate bedroom with a queen.

Room size is good but overall the motel is on the older side, the kitchenette was functional but a bit dated and worn.

Has Austrar in the room but the picture quality is poor and the in room aircon on the noisey side. The outdoor pool was a plus.

Overall an ok motel for a one night stopover but there is better value out there.

We stayed here recently overnight on a trip from Sydney to Melbourne. It was Boxing day but the lady in reception was exceptionally helpful in assisting us to find food in the area. The hotel is in a good spot with a little pool if you fancy a dip. Its casual, easy going and the facilities were good. It's a good stop over en route somewhere as its very convenient but I probably wouldn't want to stay there for longer than a night or two. Great if you're looking for somewhere to sleep without the fancy frills. Single bed was exceptionally small.

Room Tip: The rooms down the far end (from 16 unwards) are better as there is less traffic.

Wagga isn't exactly great for options, so this place compared well to others in town. It is quite central to everything, but it must be said that it is rather outdated. If you're accustomed to living or staying in new surroundings, this place may not rate well. The advertised picture makes the place look quite fancy, but it's not. There is a reason they took the picture at night. It's really just an old brick motor inn. The rooms do seem clean, though, and the staff are nice. We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off in the hallway, twice, but I guess these things happen. Overall, I think this place is rather overpriced for what is on offer. Unfortunately, because there is much else in town, you only have two options. 1. Pay much more for something nicer. 2. Save your money and stay somewhere slightly further from town.
