“Great Family Suite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2014

Have stayed in Wagga many times but first time at Pavillion. Fantastic service and the family suite was perfect for us with 3 boys aged 12-15. Best hotel bed I've ever slept in and then we were given complimentary bottles of water when we checked out. We'll be back.

I have been staying at the Pavilion for many years but the past year since the change of ownership it has gone ahead in leaps and bounds. I have always enjoyed the location and the environment of the hotel but the new renovations that have been completed are simply divine. They have been put together with everything in mind like multiple power points at the desk and bedside so you don’t have to pull furniture out to find them, great lighting making it easy to work in the room, ipod docks, DVD players and even USB charger on the desk if you have forgotten to pack one. The Restaurant is better than ever with a huge menu and wine selection and the service from the staff is very attentive. It’s wonderful to stay at a hotel where feedback is always welcome, these guys take feedback seriously, the last time I stayed I suggested gym access at a nearby gym and when I came back they had a pass for me at a 24hour facility just down the road, now that’s service.

Booked in over the Xmas period 2013, although it was the "silly season" and Xmas parties were in full swing downstairs, we couldn't really hear a lot which was good. The bed was very comfortable, The bathroom was great! We had the best meal with room service. A lovely place ad would stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we are delighted you enjoyed your room service meal. One of the things we are proud of is that our entire restaurant menu can be ordered to your room so if you feel like privacy you can still enjoy an adequate meal in your room.

We stayed here twice. Once on the way to Bathurst and again on the way back. It wasnt the cheapest motel in town, but is lovely and quiet and has been refurbished. Nice big bathroom, I had a problem with the shower continually "running out of water" when we stayed the first time, but it was ok as long as you kept the hot water tap at pretty much full speed. Didnt have that problem at all the second time we stayed. Rooms were lovely and big, equipped with fridge, microwave and dvd.

We stayed here 10 years ago and boy has it been updated. Beautiful and modern now.

It is a little of the main drag, but that's what makes it quiet. Just down a side street though.

Our first room, that we had on the ground floor, we could get to our car via a sliding door, very handy and convenient.

We didnt eat in the restaurant so cant comment on the food. Looks lovely though. Staff lovely and helpful.

Room Tip: Some ground floor rooms have access to your car from the room via a sliding door.

Its great to hear you enjoyed your stay and came back a second time around. The hotel has so many different room types there is one to match everyone's needs. The ground floor rooms are ideal for gaining fast access to your car. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

We stayed on Christmas Day 2013. Our room was the same one we had last time but has been refurbished (with the exception of the bathroom). It's a perfect room for a family with 2 rooms connected by the bathroom. Our kids were one end with twin single beds and we were up the other end with a queen bed. Both rooms had a sofa and table and chairs and the twin room had a mini kitchen with large fridge and microwave.

We also had Christmas lunch in the dining room. It was AMAZING: the service, the food, the sparkling wine, even a gift for our 11 year old son was left on the table. Yes, it was a little expensive, however it was no "all you can stuff yourself with buffet" with people elbowing you out of the way. Wonderful table service with excellently timed breaks between each course. My disabled mother was at lunch with us and the staff couldn't have done more to ensure we were at a table with good access but also with some atmosphere and intimacy.

The new owners deserve the praise they are receiving. These new guys are enthusiastic and genuinely care about their guests. Well done and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at the Pavilion restaurant on Xmas Eve. The food, wine and service were all great. It is a little on the pricey side, but worth it. My tip, order the entree serves; they're not that much smaller than the mains so they're much better value.

We didn't stay in the hoel.
