“Cabins not up to standard”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

I stayed at this van park recently and spent 3 nights in their cabins. I was far from impressed with the cleanliness of their bedding and ensuite. The cooking equipment was substandard, aged and I was not using it to cook or eat off. The furniture was also aged and had amateur running repairs which made it dangerous to use. On informing staff I was treated with indifference. I use cabins very often on the road and this was one of the worst for sure.

Such a beautiful spot to stay! The cabins are well suited to families, are well appointed and spacious enough. The only bad point was that aircon wasn't up to the challenge of 42 degree heat. The unexpected loveliness of the Murrumbidgee River to help us cool down was such a treat.

We have stayed here on 3 separate occassions when travelling between Adelaide and Sydney. The cabins are great. For $10 extra you can hire a linen pack which saves carrying pillows etc. The only downside we had on our last visit was that it was a 43c day when we arrived. It took several hours for the cabin to cool down. As we had pre booked and paid in full, we thought that the air conditioning could have been turned on earlier to cool the cabin down. The location is great and a paddle in the Murrambidgee at dusk did help to cool us down., Would definately recommend.

Room Tip: we usually hire a 1 bedroom cabin which is more than comfortable for a couple

We enjoyed a night in a cabin over looking the river at this caravan park. A great location, with a comfortable, well appointed cabin, with air conditioning for the hot day. Suited us travelling with young children.

I am shocked by earlier comments,we stayed there this week and could not fault our cabin, clean very good size and riverfront most certainly helped,we changed our stay from one to three nights it was that good, would stay there again certainly,as we are from Nth Queensland it will have to be later .
Highly endorsed from someone who knows what they are talking about from experience.

Room Tip: Riverfront is the best by far.

i would never recommend staying here. we had a specific cabin booked 4 months in advance when we got there we had been moved and were told bad luck. we booked this cabin to be near friends who had also booked there camp site 4 months in advance. new owners have taken over and they are bad, rosie who used to work there was great.
