“Busy place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

Surprised at how many places didn't open on a Monday night, especially with graduation ceremonies happening, we found ourselves here for dinner.

Luckily they had a few tables unreserved and we were seated promptly. Because it was busy it took a few minutes for drinks order to be taken, but they did come promptly. Orders were taken efficiently and again, the meals came quickly.

Complimentary pappadums were tasty and the entrees - tandoori chicken also. The mains - tandoori lamb chops and Indian kofta were good too - tasty and plenty of it. Rice was also a generous portion. Maybe lacked a little in the way of vegetables but we could have ordered a side dish.

Cost us about $80 for 2 people for entree and main courses, with a bourbon and 2 mineral waters. About what we expected. Staff were wecloming and friendly and didn't let the busy time interfere with that. Recommended for a visit.

“A very nice place to eat.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012 via mobile

The first impression of this restaurant was attention to detail. It was appealing and comfortable. The menu was extensive with variety of flavours. The food was well presented. There was more than enough to eat. The mango mock tail was delicious. Our only concern was the wait staff who forgot parts of our order twice. That was disappointing. The lady answering the phone was a bit smart when I said I was checking on them being open she said "well I answered the phone so it must be" not funny. The restaurant is well located with good parking.

“A good menu which delivers an above average eating experience.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Dined out with a group of business colleagues to celebrate a win.
I have travelled extensively in India and surrounds and accordingly this review in part provides a comparison with the genuine experience.
Menu delivers a wide variety of choice including vegetarian and spices, herbs and heat.
Food was tasty, lived up to expectations of a western version of the real thing.
Portions were as expected.

Environment is what most people would expect to be upmarket Indian with lots of bling however the night in question the service was average and the restaurant very noisy.

“Great service, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

Tried this place after reading the reviews here. Good choice for friendly and efficient service. I had the onion bhaji, which was nicely flavoured and well cooked, though the presentation reminded me of school dinner plate; a bit uninspired. Then the Saag ghosht with lamb; creamy smooth, well spiced and good quality lamb, with rice and garlic naan. The quality of the lamb says a lot about the quality of the restaurant; it's good. Overall well worth the visit and I'd certainly be back if I'm through WW again
