Good pub grub! This place has a nice feel - an extensive blackboard menu, so none of that same old. The portions are huge, so be careful what you order! Make room for other courses ... i.e pace yourself.
The dining room can be busy on Thursday through to Sunday, and so can be very noisy. The room is next to the open air smoking section (when is smoking going to be banned in public places?), which doesn't have any effect on the food, but adds to the busyness of the place.
Service is good (you order at the bar, but table clearance is good and done in a friendly manner). Value? This is very good quality pub food and very affordable.
