With three friends we had a great night at this excellent, intimate restaurant. It is as advertised, with a gifted chef serving up classic French dishes and his delightful lady welcoming a capacity crowd of less than 20 diners. She added to the theatre with beautiful presentation of the dishes. For example, added at the table were sherry stirred into a rich onion soup, cooking juices were spooned over a spectacular baby guinea fowl and other dishes were set alight. We had pâté and the soup. Chateaubriand and guinea fowl, profiteroles and a Chantilly meringue dish. The menu was extensive and well balanced. Each dish was presented as if it was the focus of the night and the mains were complimented by excellent vegetables. The restaurant is byo and licensed. The toilet is next door but that was no problem. Just terrific.
