Loved it. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and plated so well. The viewers reviews on this one are spot on. Well recommended

“expensive with average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

We must admit to being a little disappointed after reading the reviews ion trip advisor. The place has a nice atmosphere with good service and an expensive but good wine list. We had fillet steak which was cooked well but was nothing special and expensive at $38. The sticky date pudding was a disappointment after the good reviews. Sarah Lee?? The total bill for two was over $175 with tip. At that price one expects something really special on an international scale. Unfortunately this place doesn't provide it.

“Very enjoyable relaxed dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Our group of 10 or so had a lovely meal at this intimate little restaurant on Loftus St. The menu is well organised around a number of starters and mains, and there are good wines by the glass as well as craft beer options on the drinks list. I opted for the squid as an entree. Tasty, not too salty and with a crisp batter. My main was the beef dish. Cooked as ordered and a quality piece of meat. Service is attentive and professional, without being intrusive or pretentious. Recommended.

“Great little restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

I've now eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The food is consistently both imaginative and delicious, the ambience is pleasing and the staff are lovely and efficient. They also have a very good wine list and plenty of nice wines by the glass.
Though Selah is tucked away on Loftus St and easy to miss, it's also incredibly handy to hotels, trains, buses, ferries and parking.
