I think Aussies really need better hotel management schools. In Italy I am used to much better service in a upscale restaurant like this, and if I was the owner I would immediately fire the table manager. We were asked to be at the restaurant no later than 6.15 pm since they were fully booked for 7 but weren't seated before 7! Ok, it was a Friday night and the Lions match is at the stadium tomorrow but stil... not the best start. Naybe ys a way to boost bar drinks orders... After we ordered food and drinks, the starters (oysters and raw fish) arrived and no wine (Chandon). I had to ask 3 waiters to be finally served, after about 15 minutes, thanks to the only professional waitress there (Sarah). After she took care if us all went smooth but when we asked the bill... surprise! The two glasses of Chandon became eventually two bottles: 138 dollars instead of a total of 24 dollars! Sarah again came in help, correcting a gross management error (to be understating). In a summary: 5 stars to the kitchen and wine list, 0 to the service and management, apart from Sarah, blonde hair "angel" waitress fir my girlfriend and I tonight!
