We dined here unexpectedly after just arriving in Sydney from US. We had a party of 11 but were seated promptly.
The oysters, prosciutto appetizer and pasta appetizer were excellent. Great wine menu too.
A few of us had the salmon for our Main course. The salmon was cooked perfectly however none of us like the black topping on the salmon. The rest of the group ordered steaks. We had mixed reviews. Two in our party had the ribeye steak but they were not consistent in size. One was thinner than the other steak. We also ordered t-bones and filets which were good.
We had salads with our meals which were very light on the dressing. We asked for more dressing and the salads were perfect.
The waitress seemed overwhelmed with our table. At first she was friendly but by the middle of the meal she was not and it almost felt like we were bothering her when we asked for things. She did receive help from the gentleman who originally sat us. He was helpful, patient and pleasant with us the entire time. He actually even said good bye to us when his shift ended.
If we were in town again I would return for the food. Perhaps the waitress was overwhelmed and just got in a bad mood. We were a big party however we ordered a ton of food, bottles of wine, cocktails, beer and after dinner drinks. Expensive bill and the waitresses' tip could have been more but we just tipped the minimum due to the way we felt half way through the service until the end of our visit.
