“Nice Spot, Distinctly Average.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

I have visted this restaurant twice. On the first occasion, our table was treated atrociously by the waiting staff. In particular, one girl was very rude and stubborn to our party. However, on the second occasion, the staff were very competent and friendly. The food is very average, and overpriced considering the quality. The pizzas have an exorbitant amount of cheese, inedibly so! Would return, as it is child friendly, but only with children. There are far better restaurants in the area.

“OK food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Our first night in Australia, so we were pretty beat up after the trip. The food seemed just ok. My daughter's milk shake was more like chocolate milk than a shake.

“Pizzas are pretty good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We needed a quick, easy place to eat with tired children near the InterContinental and this was recommended by the concierge. Once I realized exactly where it was (namely right on the Quay), I could tell it was a typical tourist restaurant and that the food probably wouldn't be that good. We decided pizzas would be the safest bet, and to be honest, they exceeded expectations! We enjoyed the pizza and the setting is nice (on the water). Still, I can't say whether anything other than pizza would be good and certainly it's not a place many locals are likely to frequent.

“Won't be back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

I don't often write restaurant reviews but I'm compelled to write one here.

The location and outlook are great but that's about it.

The food quality was terrible - burnt veal, frozen chocolate pudding...

Service friendly but messy - the waitress tripped over our babies high chair twice - both times scarying our poor baby to bits - once is an accident, twice is just careless.

Considering the food quality the prices are horrifically high.

Keep walking is our suggestion - much better restaurants either side of the ferries.

“Not Going Back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

First review I have ever written about a restaurant, but I had to! Burnt coffees; burnt croissant; waitress dropped stuff in my lap when clearing the table; wrong meal for one of our party; and a rude, huffy manager when we raised the issues! Really disappointed and unimpressed.
