I can understand and appreciate the reputation this restaurant has earnt for itself. The chefs, staff and family who have created this dining experience are certainly a credit to the encouragement of ethical eating with the fusion of Vietnamese cuisine.
The full wholesome flavours of fresh produce used, the personal and intimate interaction of staff with ourselves and one another combined with their genuine love of food made this the best dining experience I have ever had. My mother and I were fortunate to experience the degustation menu and my mouth still salivates and tingles from the amazingly subtle and intricate tastes of each and every plate. Red Lantern embraces the tradition of Vietnamese eating where all dishes are shared - I was so content and full and delighted with my experience that I cannot recommend and rave enough about Red Lantern. Mark Jensen, Luke Nguyen and Pauline Nguyen are evidently creating and recreating recipes from their hearts and should be regarded as some of the greatest assets Australia has to offer not only as restauranteurs but as a business that practices and believes in sustainable healthy eating.
