“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

We ate there twice -- very good both times. The portions are large so you really only need one main per person which was a shame as there were only two of us we couldn't get much variety.
Advise booking at peak times.

“Highly Recommended Sydney institution”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Really enjoyed the food here. Portions were generous, food was fresh and service was very attentive. We also got complimentary entree (soup) and complementary desserts (watermelon, little cristoli and an 8 cup serving of red bean soup - there were only 4 of us!) Highly recommended. Can see why this place is a Sydney institution.

“Average - nothing special - unfriendly service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We popped along here for supper before a concert at the Entertainment Centre. Very handy restaurant for that location.

The food was average- the service was poor and attitude was verging on rude. It was BYOB but corkage was $8 per person so a bit much for a quick meal. They kindly took our bottles to chill them but were reluctant to bring them back when we were ready to eat - a bit strange.
Very good San Choy Bow rest of dinner was niceish but a bit lacking in seasoning.

Would not return.

“Great meal.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

2 course duck - pancakes and San choi bow....the San choi bow was good but the pancakes were delicious!

Mains - fried rice was the best I have ever had. Crispy chicken, salt and pepper squid, heavenly vegetables all very good. In fact I could have eaten just the vegetables, they were amazing.

Service was quick and good. Will definitely return.
