“Great Place to Go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Get there by a fast ferry from the Circular Quay and do not forget to book for meal at the Doyles, famous fishmongers! There are some nice little beaches and that wonderful walk up to the South Head lighthouse. Fantastic views of the Sydney Harbour.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Lovely bay within easy ferry ride from circular key or darling Harbour . Doyles seafood restaurants and bars only 1 minute from ferry pier . We visited just for lunch but thought it would be a lovely place to stay longer . The view beyond Sydney Harbour from the look out was fabulous and definitely worth walking 3 minutes across the road to see.

“Beautiful spot”

Really fantastic place to watch the sun set. Eat in the pub rather than Doyle's though - great food.

“Nice trip to Sydney suburb”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Interesting to have cliff at one side of the road and beach view at the other side. Quiet and beautiful suburb area. If you are not driving I would suggest to take the train from CBD to bondi junction, change to bus 380/333 to bondi beach for a visit. From bondi beach take bus 380 to Watsons bay. Visit the Gap and then lunch at the beach / pier area (fish and chips) and then take the ferry back to Circular Quay where you can have the view of Opera House and Sydney bridge from the sea.
