“Not to be rushed...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

QVB is beautifully restored... Victorian Sydney better than it probably was! Lots of boutique experiences, quaint to extravagant. Good coffee, and access to Sydney's below bound shopping areas. Who knows what you may find here, or where you will resurface!

“QVB A place of intrigue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Well worth the visit to this shopping centre, particularly at Christmas when the Giant Tree is up. Big variety of shopping near the Town Hall train station and buses in George street stop outside.

If you don't enjoy this you will never be pleased!!

Eating places available in plentiful numbers.

“Drop in for a view of old Sydney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Wonderful building in the centre of Sydney. Good shopping with underground connections to half a dozen other city blocks, the railways and buses to the west. The tea rooms should be tried for a half hour break from all that shopping

“great place to window shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

The QVB is an old Victorian looking building with ornate finishes. You'd never expect it to be a shopping mall. There are multiple floors and the higher up you go, the higher end the merchandise and prices. There are haute couture stores as well as more reasonable prices, (for Sydney at least). There are a number of places to have a nice lunch or even high tea. It is definitely a place to window shop and take in the old world charm of the building.

“Beautiful building.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Love the old restored building. full of people rushing about and others relaxing and enjoying the cafes... I like taking photos of the gorgeous winding stairs and ornate ceiling. Upstairs for a real High Tea or down stairs to pick up a kitchen bargain at Victorias Basement. ( just dont take your kids, luggage or wingey husbands down there!)
