I stayed at the Meriton on Kent st late last year which was shocking so I was quite hesistant about staying here. I was pleasantly surprised. They were so accomodating about my bad back and they trie. their hardest to make the matress suitable for me. Katrina in particular was an absolute gem!
The room was comfortable and quite big. The only negative for me was that my shower was imposible to regulate. On one night that I was there there was a fire evacuation. It made me realise that you should NEVER stay on a high floor at a hotel. Im quite sore after running down all those stairs but again thats not the hotels fault. I would have loved more communication though as they didn't make us aware of why we evacuated and spent so long on the street at 4am. Its not 24/7 reception however I still felt safe staying there alone.
I would recommend having the 'please do dont disturb' sign on the door when youre home though as the cleaneres often waltz in in the morning and give you a heartache whilst youre getting dressed. Not a big issue though!
The location is amszing and there is an incredible woolworths around the corner!
Overall im happy I stayed at Pitt st and I would definitely return in the future !
