“Wanted a balcony. Got one the size of a window box.”

Pro's: Great location in the middle of the city. Extremely comfortable king - size bed. Windows that open. Very clean. Very quiet.
Con's: No iron. Tiny bathroom with limited bench space. A balcony you can stand on - only just. Got a south facing room with no view.

Room Tip: Maybe look at Meriton World Square or Campbell Street before making your decision.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at Meriton Serviced Apartments Pitt Street.
I was pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay and was mostly happy with the facility and services we offer. We get a lot of good feedback about fantastic location and well appointed apartments. We are certainly well positioned and have access to all shops, cafes, transport and tourist icons at our finger tips.

Please accept my apologies if there was no iron in your apartment. This should have been noted and replaced at the time our housekeeping supervisor checked your apartment prior to your arrival. Your comments have been passed onto our Housekeeping Manager who will be monitoring this closely.

Montanadancer, please kindly note that most of our studio and 1 bedroom apartments only have a ‘Juliette style’ balcony and are located on the lower floors of the building. More information regarding the floor plans of our ‘typical style’ apartments are available on our website. May I recommend our Kent Street property for a future visit that have all apartment types available on all floors with larger style balconies.

“Fantastic!”

Would definitely recommend these apartments. Clean, spacious, friendly staff and great location. Apartments have everything you need- kitchen and cooking utensils, washing machine and dryer.
Will stay again next time we are in Sydney!

Room Tip: probably the higher to room the better.

“Great location ,friendly efficient staff, nice and clean.”

Was a great place to stay in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. Good friendly staff, clean well maintained apartments and not a bad price for being in the CBD. Stayed on the 48TH floor, good lift service and great views of Sydney. Nice pool and spa on the 13th floor. Would deffinetly stay again !

Mr Penfold I note that you stayed in a three bedroom sky-view apartment, Meriton Serviced Apartments Pitt Street also has Penthouse and Sub-Penthouse apartments which are on the top two floors of the building. These three-bedroom apartments offer stunning panoramic views of Sydney City and have luxurious furnishings and appliances. These apartments definitely make that special holiday even more memorable!

“Energy saving policy: Air conditioner switches itself off every 4 hours”

They have a funny energy saving policy, the air conditioner switches itself off every 4 hours. Result: we got waken up middle of the night cos everyone was dizzy from stuffiness, i ended up setting alarm for middle of the night to switch it back on. I was worried baby would be stuffy and dizzy too. Really bad and weird policy, it is totally unacceptable. Now it's summer, I can imagine in winter guests would be frozen middle of the night cos the air conditioner switches itself off in the name if energy saving.

The apartment is tidy, but cups got coffee stains and cushions were very dusty. But their staff are quite friendly.

The building interior is similar to a youth hostel, especially the corridor.

If they change the "energy saving" policy I might stay here again, otherwise , no thanks.

It is only through feedback such as yours that we can continue to improve the services we offer and pride ourselves on. Please accept my sincere apologies that your stay was not up to the standard that you expected.

In regards to your comments about the air conditioning in your apartment, as a ‘Green’ approach to reducing energy consumption in our buildings, the air-conditioning units had a four hour timer built in at the time of construction. We find that most guests are comfortable with this setting however please accept my sincerest apologies if this caused discomfort for you and your family during your stay.

In regards to your feedback about the coffee cups and pillows in your apartment, this is most certainly not the high standard that we pride ourselves on and rest assured that your comments have been taking seriously. I have passed on your feedback to our Housekeeping Manager to ensure procedures are put into place to prevent any re-occurrences of such.

“Certainly met our expectations”

This is a very comfortable, modern and well appointed apartment. It is perfect for a family. We enjoyed the sky views.
The property is well located for easy access to shops, and the trip by train from the airport very easy with both Musuem and Town Hall stations nearby. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: We paid extra for a sky view which we enjoyed.
