Lets face it, there's a real show stopping experience here and people get a bit over excited about the whole nitrogen thing. Show and photo opportunities aside though, this place does serve a mean gelato, which surprised me.
I ordered a scoop of 'Fig-You' - port reduced fig gelato, and tried a bit of the buttered popcorn. The fig gelato reminded me of rum n raisin, but better, little chunks of jammy fig that had been reduced in the port but the real point of difference here is how silky smooth the gelato is. The buttered popcorn was fun and tasty too, not overly buttery at all and a hint of sweet.
It's a little dim inside but the decor is fun. It's a good place to stop by after eating in Chinatown - a bit of fun to end a night of eats. Check out the flavour board near the back door while you're there too which lists the names of all the flavours they;ve produced
