This is our suburban boutique cinema. We go at least once a month. This is general for couples and friends, the discerning cinema goer.
It concentrates on quality films, as well, they hold the French Film Festival and Italian Film Festival also other foreign films with subtitles throughout the year. They show the NY Opera, Ballets, Art Exhibitions in cinema format with behind the scenes interviews. So if you can't afford to travel or see these things in the flesh then this is the way to do it.
In school holidays they have a few more child and teen orientated movies.
Other special events include organ playing before certain movies in the large cinema. Old movies. Sing a longs, interviews with producers, actors,,screen writers, critics, etc.
Their website is easy to use, and you can prebook, also buy season tickets.
The bar serves alcohol.
The only problem is a shortage of parking. There is a free 3 hour car park behind the cinema, some 2 hour pay parking. Daytime restaurants are a bit boring although Siborg in the back cinema towards Mercedes Benz is good as is the Mayor nearby.
