“Unbeatable views of the Harbour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

The view is spectacular!! We stayed in a one bedroom on floor 12 and could not believe the view! Directly facing the iconic Harbour Bridge and the lights of Luna Park. While the apartments are older the furnisings are modern and the place was spotlessly clean. An added bonus was the arrival of rainbow lorrikeets on the kitchen window the next morning!
To think that McMahons Point is only a couple of trainstops from Sydney! The Ferry stops at the front door, just about, and the community of Blue's Point (yes, it is a steep walk but well worth it!) is an exclusive enclave of community spirit, great coffee and great food! There's also a Pub on the corner of French Street.
Next time we're staying longer!

Room Tip: Make sure you spend a little extra on the Harbour view rooms: so worth it!

My husband surprised me for my 50th birthday with a stay in a 1 bedroom apartment in November. I was a bit worried when we were heading up to our room as the lift and the hallways are looking a bit tired. Shouldn't have worried though because I was absolutely thrilled when we entered the apartment. The views were absolutely stunning. I loved how we could open the windows so we could experience the sights and sounds of the harbour. We possibly had a refurbished apartment as everything was modern and clean. The ferry wharf was about a 1 to 2min walk with easy access to the city and Darling Harbour. We will be back that's for sure!!

This is wonderfully situated hotel on the banks of Sydney harbor only a short walk from McMahon's Point ferry terminal.

We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment, which is testily decorated, clean and very functional. The views of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, Opera House & cruise ship terminal were breathless and alone are worth the asking price.

Value of the hotel was excellent due to not being in CBD but in the same time this allows for quieter night rest.
There are a number of good restaurants walking distance from hotel up the road but the best thing is to jump on a ferry and experience all the Sydney has to offer.

Room Tip: Lavender bay views room will still get you excellent view and 20% savings

Harbourside Apartments are not ultra modern or flash but they are well-kept and very clean. Staff are efficient and friendly. The location is superb and the views are world class. The ferry wharf is almost at the front door and a Ferry Ten ticket will take you all around the inner harbour. It's a short trip to Circular Quay, King St Wharf, Balmain and Darling Harbour/Pyrmont. All interesting in their own way. A short walk up the road brings you to the cafes of McMahons point with sidewalk tables and lots of atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can all be had at a reasonable price. Blues Point Hotel has a decent bistro and a good variety of cold Aussie beers. Turn down the lights, have a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular view. The only down side is you have to pay for internet access. When are Australian Hotels going to wise up?

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for a 'Harbour View' apartment. Front left of the building has great view...

Sydney's Harbourside apartments are not ultra modern but they are well-kept and in a class of their own. The location and view are world class. Staff are efficient and friendly. Apartments are very clean - and smell clean. The ferry is almost at the door. Buy a ferry ten ticket and ride around the Harbour. It's a short trip to Circular Quay, Balmain, King St Wharf and Darling Harbour/Pyrmont. A ten minute walk up the road brings you to some great cafes with outdoor seating and the Blues Point Hotel which has an excellent bistro and good selection of cold beers.

Spent nine days in a one bedroom apartment on the ninth floor overlooking Lavender Bay. The view was lovely and we only had to go outside the front door of the building to get the full bridge and opera house view. The apartment was newly renovated, clean and comfortable with a kitchen complete with necessary utensils. The swimming pool area was right on the harbour's edge, more superb views, and it and the garden area were immaculately kept. We chose Harbourside because we knew how convenient it would be having a ferry wharf a few metres away,so easy to get to Circular Quay and from there to so many lovely areas, and a very quick journey to Darling Harbour with all its restaurants. The excellent bars and restaurants of Blue Points Road were also nearby, albeit a bit of a climb from the apartments. We have visited Sydney several times and this was the most convenient place we have stayed and the one we shall definitely stay at again. The friendly and helpful staff also helped to make our stay perfect.

Had to visit Sydney and a visitor from overseas never been to Australia or Sydney and this place is prefect for the location.
The rooms have a view worth millions and is close all water transport to get everywhere in Sydney.
The only problem is the bit of a walk to go to the local pubs and places to eat. No dining on site.
I would recommend to all visitors to Sydney just to stay at least once for the views.
