“Modern and quirky!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013 via mobile

This hotel is absolutely magnificent! The moment you walk into the foyer, you realise that simply staying here will be an experience. The room itself had opulent trinkets and artwork throughout along with instructions on how to make your welcome cocktails! Stepping into the lift, my partner and I listened to, 'just the two of us...'and then experienced a change of music upon the entrance of a single man to, 'only the lonely..!' The bar has an extensive menu and some interesting cocktails. We will absolutely return to this wonderful hotel!

“Absolutely fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Just spent 2 nights at the QT and I could not have been happier with the choice of hotel - one of the nicest I have ever stayed in! Great coffee in Parlour Cafe, great breakfast in Gowings and the most gorgeous and spacious rooms I could have hoped for - a visual feast. Also, good value for Sydney, esp if you get the QT Life special. If you are looking for somewhere glam and different with a great location to stay in Sydney, you can't go past the QT. I can't wait to have another opportunity to stay there again!

“Really funky!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

After arriving at QT i could tell straight away that our 4 day stay was indeed going to be quite unique. The red wigged attendants at the door and the fun uniforms set the mood for the wntire hotel. After arriving from an international flight at 9am we were all a bit tired and grumpy, the reception attendant could obviously tell and tried to make early check as smooth as possible. Once entereing the room you get a feel straight away that this is indeed a unique hotel concept. The mod lighting, retro style furniture and large spacious rooms were quite impressive. Minibar was well stocked although there was an out of date item that remained for the entire trip. A couple of small points that need addressing but overall a great experience and the hotel is definitely in the best location in the Sydney CBD for shopping and transport. Only biggish gripe was there was an overcharge on my credit card when i returned homw, however one quick phone call and it was all sorted without any hassle. Would definitely stay again and recommend. See seperate reviews for the great inhouse restaurant Gowings and also the cafe at the foyer parlour Lane.

“Wonderful weekend - thanks QT!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Thanks QT for giving my husband and me an AMAZING 10th wedding anniversary experience; the hotel is superb (fun and sexy with a great room and top-notch service). Special thanks to James Twigg for making us feel especially welcome and looking after us throughout our stay! We'll be back...

“eye candy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Classy entrance bar and very good food. Wait for table a bit tenuous but that usually occurs given the arrogance of Sydney; the maitre'd is an energetic bloke and it is very popular. Prices not too bad and if you're into facial aesthetics, go right on in. Shallowness meter - right on up there.

HI Norheim R,

Well, you clearly have the pips that I objected to the other review you put up lol. Very sorry, but I din't think that female staff members would be ok with it, regardless of the underlying sentiments.

The last review was much nicer in terms of service, so I'm going to roll with it and accept that I made you cranky, and that it wasn't the hotels fault.

Thanking you,

Sas
