I Just loved Darling Harbour for its views of the harbour, opera house and just the general feel and vibe of the place.
A fantastic way to to see Sydney is on the ferries. Inexpensive & well located not to mention safe as well.

The dramatic view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney, New South Wales, and Australia. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.
A different cruise liner every day and beautiful views over the harbour. A must do at different times of the day and night. Obviously food and drink around the harbour and Rocks is more expensive than elsewhere.
Great for a drink early evening or just as a starting point for catching ferries to eg.Manley or buses Shops and restaurants are top price due to number of tourists
