The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The dramatic view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney, New South Wales, and Australia. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.

“Gateway to Sydney”

A different cruise liner every day and beautiful views over the harbour. A must do at different times of the day and night. Obviously food and drink around the harbour and Rocks is more expensive than elsewhere.

“lively, cosmopolitan feel”

Great for a drink early evening or just as a starting point for catching ferries to eg.Manley or buses Shops and restaurants are top price due to number of tourists

“Love walking over the bridge”

Love walking from the suburbs , over the bridge with the amazing views of Darling Harbour, Opera House, and Botanical Gardens. I've also done the bridge climb...also highly recommend and I have a fear of heights.

Sydney harbour and the opera house and the harbour bridge are a beautuful combination of places set in a beautiful spot, well thats one thing sydney has better than us melbournians
