This was my first time staying at Rydges World Square. Great hotel, location is excellent, walking distance to most place, has a nightlife... Bar has an open beer garden which is nice and relaxing. Close to train stations, basically in the heart of the city which makes it nice and easy for shopping or eating out. Not far from the airport, approx 20 mins drive... should not cost you more than $20AUD. Hotel is clean and service is not too bad, a little slow at time (had problem with the door handle in room).. nothing major.. had a great 3 nights stay... will be back..

Three nights would have given plenty of time to enjoy what Rydges World Square has to offer. I’m happy to hear you had time to unwind and relax in our Beer Garden. We have now installed heaters to keep our guests warm in the winter months while they sit down and enjoy a few well deserved beverages. My apologies for any inconvenience caused with your door handle I can assure you this is not a problem we often hear about. Make sure you come back and see us again next time you are in town.

I booked on-line and if you obtain a Priority Guest card if entitles you to a discount off the on-line rack rate. When again in Sydney I will happily return to stay at the Hotel. The room was spotlessly clear and well appointed. I found that the Hotel was within 200 meters of the George St., Cinema area of Sydney and a similar distance to the southern end of Hyde Park and the China Town area.

We booked one Single and one Double Bed Room (Room 1514) at AUD143.20 (promotion rate) through the hotel's website. Email communications were great and the staff were friendly and answered all my enquiries.

The location is very good, walking distance to Darling Harbour, China Town, Sydney Tower, railway stations, etc. Also many shops, cafes and restarants around. Car is not needed at all but there is valet parking which is AUD35 per day.

The front desk staff were great and check-in was fast. The room was excellent for us, spacious, right temperature and big bathroom. The beds were wonderful and we were thinking that it was a pity just to stay only one night!

We have signed up for their Priority Guest, so our check-out time was extended to 1pm. Check-out was fast and it was easy to get a taxi infront of the hotel to the airport or anywhere!

We highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

This was my first stay at this hotel. I chose it for the price and proximity to where I had a business meeting. I was pleasantly suprised with the whole experience.
The check in / check out was prompt and friendly. The room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was very enjoyable. There are also a number of eating,drinking and shopping options within the world square complex which is very convenient.
I will be back.
