The Sydney Opera House tour was a solid and predictable experience - which in this case, I feel, is a good thing. We embarked on this hour-long tour expecting to be educated and to see a few sights, which is exactly what happened. The educational portions of the tour were primarily provided through video projected onto the wall - these mini-documentaries were succinct and well-paced.
Our guide, Leonie, was very good at answering questions, her sense of humour made the hour very enjoyable. It is worth noting that the head-set system, such that the guide's voice is piped into individual head-sets was an effective way of ensuring that we could all hear her clearly.
I would echo previous reviews to say that we did not see anything the general ticket-toting public wouldn't see, which was a little of a let-down. However, being granted access to one of the main halls during the rehearsal for "South Pacific" was a great plus.
