The night consisted of a peak at Venus through a historic, old telescope, a very modern telescope looking at Saturn and a 3D theatre. Our tour guide was an enthusiastic experienced man, but I have one criticism. I am knowledgable about space, and some of the more difficult questions were given incorrect answers, because they were just to complicated to explain to an average person.
If you have a pare night in sydney, it's definitely worth a visit.

thanks for your response. It is difficult in a tour group with a wide range of knowledge and experience to explain some of the more difficult areas of astronomy in terms that can be understood by all. It is great to have curious visitors and that you managed to view through the telescope. We are about to do some astronomy guide training and any further information that you think would help improve our tours we are very happy to receive.
