This hotel is very nice. It's smaller, and has more of a classic, "old money" vibe. If you're looking for a trendy/hip environment, this isn't the place for you. The staff was very helpful and the room was nice and larger than expected. The days we were there, the hotel wasn't very full, which made it feel as if we had the run of the place.
We were on the floor that led to the pool and fitness room. Both were modest sized, but perfect when not having to share them with anyone. Be aware that the internet charge was by device, not by room, when we were there. This is one of those things that can sneak up on you over the course of a stay.
The location of the hotel is absolutely AWESOME though. It is a short walk to the Opera House, Circular Quay, and The Rocks, not to mention other areas of downtown. There are some very steep streets by the hotel, so if planning to walk, make sure your footwear can accommodate the grade and slickness if it’s raining.
