Owner description: At 250 metres above street level, Sydney Tower Eye is the highest point in Sydney - perfect for finding your bearings or just taking it all in. It's the perfect place to start your Sydney adventure. With views stretching out as far as the eye can see in all directions, there's no better place to find your bearings. Sydney Tower Eye is a true year-round visitor attraction. Gazing out across the beautiful harbour city you'll be captivated by the views of stunning Sydney in all its glory. Crystal clear skies in winter make for the best viewing distances of the year, while in Spring the explosion of Jackaranda Trees covers the Eastern Suburbs in vibrant splashes of purple. Sydney is at its best in Summer, and guests soak up the city's laid back Summer vibe from the cool air-conditioned deck as the streets swelter below. Autumn brings gorgeous orangey glows and the best sunsets of the year - the perfect time to head out on a SKYWALK for 'that' picture of the city and harbour in the background.

“Excellent views!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Great view, good experience. Not so great with kids 5&7 though.
Recommend get a babysitter and go up for dinner. That way you can take it all in without worrying about where your kids are

“Dont bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

For $26 i expected breathtaking views of the opera house and the harbour bridge. Well you cant see the opera house and the harbour bridge looks only ok at night. I wasted 3 hrs waiting in line for a colossal disappointment.Save your money and walk to the top of the harbour bridge instead. Now thats a view I can appreciate!

“Nice view, but nothing exceptional.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

We found the tower eye interesting with nice views, but nothing memorable. Fortunately, there was very little waiting in line.

“4D Experience a Waste of Money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

I did the 4D experience today and couldn't believe what a waste of money it was. It was certainly not worth $26. The 3D aspect was not well done (certainly not impressive) and it was very short. Compared to other 4D experiences (like 'Soarin' in Disney World), this one needs a great deal of improvement!

“Fantastic for the kids or overseas visitors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

As a family who live nearby to Sydney and as parents who have frequented Sydney Tower Eye as children, it was great to be able to take our own children up Sydney Tower ourselves this weekend. We enjoyed pointing out many landmarks to our children and watching planes fly in and out of Sydney International Airport. Like most Sydney attractions, this is expensive but worthwhile as you can spend as long as you like up there taking in the views. I'd recommend going up on a sunny day and a time where you have lots of time spare as the line was long to get in and the observation deck quite crowded. Perfect for overseas visitors who are not familar with Sydney.
