This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Sydney, a short walk from both Darling Harbour and Sydeny Harbour. Close to all othe rmajor attractions & shops.

The hotel is amazing, the staff very friendly and the rooms are spotless, and the house keeping team really go the extra mile, tidying up after you hanging your drying clothes (we were there a while :D) which they didnt need to nor did I expect, great touch.

The gym is small but great and on a noce day the pool is awesome.

I would advise, although the breakfast is good, its very expensive for what it is and we went out every day, the only thing that could make this place better is the bar, it closes v early and they could make a lot more of it, having said that your stones throw from some of the coolest bars in town.

We stayed here for ten days and it was pleasent, many thanks to the team. Well done.

We had a one night stay that felt like three days. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt rotten. Yusleda looked after us so well - from the amazing 25th floor view to the Club Lounge access and fantastic breakfast. The location is unbeatable in the city and all the staff were so wonderful. Absolutely nothing is a problem. Yusleda thank youl so much for everything and we cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: Request the higher levels.

Stayed here on business...3 nights... nice hotel with a good location but doesn't stand out as five-star... rooms are fairly average for business.... a suite would've been nice.

Limited power points ... Hard to get places...no iPod dock or charge stand music option.

Room Tip: Pay the money get a suite.....pray the curtains work in the afternoon on west side.

Stayed at the Swissotel Sydney 7 nights early March 2013. We were given a room on the 18th flr, where the window shutter malfunctioned, shower door didn't close (properly), and bathroom sink leaked water, along with a flashing light bulb. We requested a room change early morning, waited 4 hours, until 11:30am, for another room on the 13th flr.

It was a hassle and basically a waste of a night/morning.

For first timers taking taxis from the airport, the fare should be approx AUD $50. The hotel is above Myers Department store therefore may be hard to find (at first).

You really can't beat the location and price of this hotel. And even with average rooms, it is still a great place to stay in Sydney.

Stayed a night here on business. Location is really good in the CBD, near the QV building and handy for most things including my office. The room was fine, not a bad size and comfortable. The check in and check out staff were friendly and efficient. I had room service dinner as I was in late and had to try twice to get a person....sounds trivial but these things that matter when your spending quite large bucks. Breakfast was OK too..the usual big business hotel breakfast offering. So everything sounds fine...and really it is...it's just that it doesn't leave you with a real reason to chose it over any other large, CBD business focussed hotel of size....hence my average rating.

The Swissotel is in a good location, in Sydney's city centre above a huge shopping complex and very near public transport to the airport. The rooms are a little basic for the standard of hotel, but perfectly comfortable. There's a nice, small pool area and steam/sauna too. My first room had a banging noise, coming from the lifts or plumbing, but they moved me to another, higher room on night two. I didn't take the breakfast. A major drawback is the lack of any free wifi. Customer service is good. Overall, a good place to stay, but not exceptional for the price.
