This was our 1st experience with the Sydney location and we were very disappointed particularly given the cost. Having stayed at the Swissotel in Chicago on several occasions, we expected luxury and exceptional service but received neither. The rooms were average, the lobby had an odd unpleasant (musty?) smell and was very dated. Despite booking for 3 people and being assured at check-in that they would send up a third towel, it took us 2 additional calls to get the 3rd towel. Service in the lobby bar was terrible. We ordered pizza from room service the first night and were told they smaller than they were so we ended up ordering 2 so we ended up paying for 2 overpriced pizzas that we couldn't finish. Room service breakfast was cold, no syrup for the French toast, and 1/2 our order was missing. We were visited by someone welcoming us to the Executive Lounge, only to find out that we did not have privileges there when we tried to enter the lounge later. We were scheduled to stay 7 nights but checked out after 2 nights and moved to the Sheraton on the Park which was less per night and absolutely fabulous!
