“Very good, but not exceptional”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

On the plus side: well appointed rooms with a great view of - you guessed it - the world famous Opera House. Excellent location, not far from the Rocks. Nice spa and swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and very swift room service. So why my lack of unbridled enthousiasm? Maybe it had something to do with the renovation works in the restaurant, or a lack of special atmosphere. Still, nice experience.

“Great location in Circular Quay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

This was my first trip to Sydney and when I go to a city for the first time my main priority is location. This was in the perfect location as I was 2 minutes from Circular Quay which is the area with the Opera house and the train station which has a direct train (20 min) to the airport. You also have the Botanical Gardens a 10 minute walk away as we'll as the Harbour Bridge.

The hotel was as you would expect, very nice. The fitness center would rival some local gyms as it had everything needed to get in a good workout. They also had clothes if you needed them.

The room service was very good even though it was a little pricey. 34 AUD for a Wagyu burger with a salad and 3 small onion rings. 5 dollars are added as a service charge.

I thought there was free wifi but they only had 4 computers on the 3 rd floor with free Internet. Wifi was 25 dollars per 24 hours.

The room was very nice (30th floor) Had comfortable bed and pillows as well as a nice view of the Harbour Bridge. The bathroom had a good sized shower as well as a tub. The construction of the shower was odd as there is about 1.5 cm around the opening of the door all the way around so when you shower water can splash out onto the floor and even the toilet.

I did not give the hotel a five as I was given a room directly across from the housekeeping room which means there is coming and going throughout the day. The other issue was the squealing of the pipes in the morning as soon as people started getting up and taking showers. Not enjoyable if you are on vacation and don't need to get up at 7 am.

Room Tip: Ask if your room is across from the housekeeping area and don't pay extra for a room with a view...

“Fantastic weekend in a fantastic hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

I booked this hotel based on reviews and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The reviews all reflected the experience we had down to the finest detail. The location was perfect. Within walking distance to the Rocks, Circular Quay and Darling Harbour (bit further to walk but still close enough). The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were some of the cleanest I have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: I asked for a room high up overlooking the harbour and was given 30th floor with the most amazing vi...

“Best value for money 5 star in Sydney - just awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Centrally located near Circular Quay and The Rocks. Easy walking distance from the Circular Quay train station so you'll save money and avoid stress by taking the train to and from the airport compared with taxis.

Absolutely superb service everywhere.

They knew my son's age from a previous visit and had an age appropriate gift bag for him.

Excellent food.

Very comfortable as you'd expect from a Four Seasons property - probably the cheapest in the World.

You'd be mad to stay anywhere else.

“Fantastic City Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

Four Seasons is an amazing hotel which is located right near Circular Quay and the Rocks. It is only 15 minutes from central shopping district. The staff at this hotel really know what service is, they go out of their way to ensure every little detail is just as you want it. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Some rooms have harbour views which you should ask for when booking
