“Boo!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

We came in on a Sunday around mid day- understandably this is naturally a busy time for cafe's in glebe, but with 5-6 staff on easily manageable considering the small size of the place. Were lucky enough to grab a seat straight away, and menus were given to us-coffee order taken but it ended there. With the amount of staff on and the fact two of the guys were just messing around at the counter you'd think one of them would be bored enough to come take our order. The waitress seemed busy, but then we noticed she was just aimlessly walking back and forth, we flagged her down after ten minutes and she took our order. Within the next 40 mins obvious 'friends' of the staff came in, where seated, doted upon and even given their food. All while we quietly waited for our toasted sandwiches. I hate when people say 'we work in the industry' but I'm going to contradict myself and say just that. We do work in the industry, we do know that it shouldn't take so long for sandwiches and we do know that the service here is crap unless your one of their hipster friends. Perhaps if you go buy some blue Levi's, wear them with a wife beater and comb your hair into a quiff you might get some service, hate the stereotype but this place is terrible. Shame though, you have potential to be an awesome venue..

“Not great service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Wanted so much to like this place, sweet owner but just under staffed or bad system inplace. Waited at my table for a good fifteen minutes, during the week, only a few people here, take away coffee gets served before I do, I head to the counter and order there, coffee arrives, been here for 40 mins now.. Worth waiting for? No. Ok but nothing special. I go back the following day, perhaps just got them on a bad day... Same again....this time two guys walk in and their pounced on, coffee? Food? No problem... Not cool. Will I go back, no.

“Delicious breakfast, bit pricey!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Breakfast was really yummy but portion was small and was expensive. The service was slow (had to ask for drink and menu then went to till to pay) but we didn't mind as we were busy chatting anyway! Well presented food, nicely seasoned and well thought through menu. Overall, would definitely go back; the flat white coffee was especially delicious.

“Great Coffee, Menu needs updating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

The coffee at this cafe is some of the best in Sydney. The staff are all very casual and friendly and the space is small but it works well with the chilled out, communal vibe. The menu is basic and the food is well priced and delicious, but it hasn't changed in the last 12 months. The best time to come is mid afternoon when it's quiet. The pulled pork sandwich is awesome!

“One of the best cafes in sydney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

We love this place so much. The coffee is great but the breakfast place makes want to come here every day. Light toast, avo, tomato and basil, prusciutto, muesli. I always wish I could eat another plate.

Sitting at the bench with a nice cool breeze the breakfast plate and a coffee makes for the best morning.
