“By far the best Ristretto I had so far!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

Small shop opposite the Queen Victoria Building. There is usually a long queue in front but its worth the wait. The staff are very friendly and, unlike other shops I have visited, the baristas actually know what they are doing and you will not find burned, bitter coffee here. I had their coffee on different days and from different barista and it was always very consistent in quality.
Their Ristretto is simply mind-blowing! Smooth and rich with not a single bit of bitterness to it. Simply the best!
A must try for Ristretto-lovers!

“Coffe at its best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

This is what coffee is all about. If you like proper freshly ground coffee this is the place for you. Small place but perfectly formed.
Very popular, worth waiting for if a queue, but service very fast. Looked at the information cards on the different types of coffee and got talking to the manager for a very interesting insight on the origins of the coffee they use and different ways of making coffee. Got to start with beans and grind your own coffee. I've bought a grinder - way to go!

“Don't be deterred by the queue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

Fantastically fast and slick operation. An extremely organised set up. 3 staff at the machines working at once, another taking orders and another bringing the take away coffee to you.
You can buy from a small choice of ready to go sandwiches, but I haven't yet.

Often there are 10 or so people in the queue but they take only as long as you'd wait at another cafe with one machine operator.

“Great coffee!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

This "hole in the wall" cafe is the best! The baristas are masters! The service is prompt and staff are friendly. What more could you ask for?

“Not bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

Saw a large queue so thought we would give it a try. So joined the queue and waited about 20 minutes. Sadly nothing special. Plenty of other places close by with less of a wait.
