“a great spot for casual lunch or just great coffee and pastries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2012

At first what attracts you to Patisse are the wonderful French pastries and macaroons (just to die for!), but there is so much more. They do a great coffee to go with the pastries. However it is also a great spot to have a casual lunch. 7of us today lunched here and each of us enjoyed our chosen meal from wonderful swordfish to salads, wonderful pies. Service on each of my 3 visits has always been friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable. The dining room is a light filled room wth a casual pleasant atomosphere and is on the ground floor of the PYD Building (which has wonderful home decor shops ...great for browsing in after lunch).

Patisse is located in Young St Waterloo, round the corner from the well known Danks St with its many restaurants and cafes. Patisse is certainly worth a visit if you wish to go just outside of the city centre for a little slice of Paris!

“A French treat in Sydney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2011

I was visiting a friend in Syndey (Waterloo) and on a Saturday morning he took me to Patisse. You have to know the place to find it, ... but once you are in... you'll love the food.

My favorite? The macaroons! The ultimate : the chocolate and vanilla ones! The taste is amazing. Go and try it. It's very good stuff.

Patisse is situated in a nice gallery with original lamp & decorations shops. With a visit!
