Went there without a booking on a sat night. Waiter initially wanted to place us at the bar, we found out during the discussion that it was not as if they were fully booked, appears they like to keep a couple of tables for their regulars who may drop in. Eventually we were given a table. The lady that served us did not seem to know alot about the food, but was drilled in pushing their popular dishes like the fried cauliflower, which was nice. Also had the pork belly pierogi, which was good. The goulash and the duck were delicious. Duck was not dry at all, very juicy and crispy. Interesting choice to add snow peas and beans to a goulash but I suppose its 'modern' european. Portions are quite filling, as commented by the reviewers, there were only 2 of us, so 2 entrees and 2 dishes were plenty, leaving no room for dessert. Suggest that a larger group of at least 4 people would make the night more interesting with more variety, however one might run the risk of some the reivewers below, who were not given bookings after making them and now I probably will know why.
