After researching various options in Sydney for accomodation we chose this Meriton, there are several in the downtown area. After 20 hours of travel it was much appreciated to have a apt. ready for us to check in early. The front desk staff are very helpful & friendly.
The apartments are modern, clean & comfortable for a weeks stay. It is nice to have a washer & dryer as well as a small kitchen if you to choose to eat in. We walked for miles & found the apt. to be in a great location to most everything. Central Station is a 5 minute walk away & we enjoyed a day trip to the Blue Mountains via the train.
My only suggestion would be to ask for an apt. that looks out to the street as we were facing the interior & found it to be a bit dark, the advantage though it was quiet.

have just spent 3 nights in meriton campbell st. we were going to sydney for a concert at entertainment centre. the positives. location is perfect. chinatown is at your doorstep so good food and some atmosphere. entertainment centre 2 minute walk. easy starting point to walk around city. room was clean, tidy and modern. very comfy king size bed. visited sauna and pool. both great. staff were helpful and friendly. (thumbs up to matthew at front desk for excellent customer service). the negatives. none. will stay here again when we visit sydney.

We really enjoyed this stunning apartment. We were in Sydney to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which was at the Capitol Theatre - right across the road (brilliant show). Apartment was beautifully clean and smartly furnished. Pool was fantastic and so was the gym. Great location, staff were extremely helpful and stored our luggage for us all day. We were then able to enjoy Sydney for the day and then collect our luggage before our evening flight - they even offered us the use of a shower - impressive!! Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

My daughter (14yrs) and I stayed at this property for one night recently so that we could go to a show on at the Capitol Theatre, which is directly across the road.

We had a studio apartment 1104 which was very spacious and clean.

There was a very good kitchenette with all that would be needed for a longer stay, as well as a washing machine and dryer.

The bathroom was very big with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. There was also a cupboard on the wall with space to store toiletries. The lighting was a bit dim so we put our makeup on out in the lounge, which was no big deal.

The bed (kingsize) was very comfortable and there were large built-in wardrobes with a safe.

The TV was very large, and flatscreen, much to my daughters delight!

I will definitely stay here again, when we go to Sydney, because it was only $195 for the night compared to a small hotel room which would have cost us more.

The swimming pool looked good, we just didnt have time to use it.

The only negative would be that we didnt stay longer!
