“Good value for money in Sydney”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

Had a good 6 night stay here last December. We stayed in a very spaceous studio apartment that was clean and nicely furnished, with a decent little kitchen. There are laundry facilities in the room, you can pay for a light breakfast in the lounge, there is a small indoor pool with hot water and there is garage parking available for a fee. Internet is not free, I paid a rather stiff price for some megabytes and found out that the WiFi signal in our room was really poor. I think for Sydney the location is pretty good, it is located "on the wrong side" of the Botanical Garden, just a short walk away. But walking in the Botaincal Garden is such a beautiful experience that you just can keep on walking down to the Opera House and Circular Quay, about a 20 minute walk, and you arrive before you know it. We even walked over to Darling Harbour. All in all this is a good place to stay in Sydney.

My wife, I and our teenaged daughter stayed here for a week in June 2013. The first floor corner, one bedroom unit was spacious even if the bedroom itself was small. The pullout bed in the living room was easy to operate. Clean room, enough towels and toiletries to keep you happy between their scheduled housekeeping days. The lady at the reception gave us a comprehensive summary of things to do, places to eat and the stops for the solitary bus route that serves the area. The famous Harry's Cafe de Wheels is just at the mouth of the street. There are several decent cafes and restaurants close by. All the Sydney tourist attractions are walking distance but I do admit it tends to get dreary if you walk everyday because they are not exactly short. There wasn't much street noise, but a lot of people walking up the sloped road on the side could peep in if they wanted. To ensure privacy, the hotel had put opaque film on all the windows. But it stifles you somewhat. The room heating was not balanced - the bedroom would get very warm while the living room stayed chilly. The breakfast was minimal and identical all days. So we got a bit tired of it midway. But the kitchen is fully equipped for you to do your own meals. All in all, an okay place to stay if you are travelling with your family and need space.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms would let you enjoy the view outside.

Stayed 4 nights in this apartment in June 2013. We were greeted by a friendly lady in glasses, she took her time to patiently tell us so much about Sydney! It was really informative! She suggested that we take a long walk (1 hour plus stroll) to Sydney Opera House from the apartment, which we did on our 2nd day and it was definitely something worth remembering; beautiful weather and scenery!

Location was great as it is less than 5 mins away from 24 hours convenient store and the bus stop. Could not remember the bus number but there is one bus that goes to the main city and we find it very useful for us to go to places.

Room was clean and spacious. We were happy that they have kitchens in their rooms, plus all cooking utensils are provided. Bed was comfortable and sofas were cozy!

Plus point about this apartment is their level of security. The main entrance to the apartment are locked at all times and cannot be accessed without our room card. I think this is good cos random strangers can't make their way in.

Go book a room here if you intend to bring 3-5 people :)

We stayed in a studio room, ourselves and our 2 daughters, it was ideal for the 1 night stay, with a Queen bed, sofa bed and they provided also rollaway bed. The rooms were very quite and not much street noise was heard.

Location was great, plenty of places to eat nearby.

Conveniently located, well appointed, spotless standard suite. Exceptional service from the onsite team, especially Eleni who goes out of her way to give advice on best ways to get around. Close to top restaurants and others offering better value.

We are a family with children visited Sydney at the first time and stayed at Wooloomolloo Waters apartment for 5 nights. It's near botanical, downtown and darling harbour, we could walk there through the domain park.
