In Darling Harbour and looking for a low priced lunch and somewhere to sit. We considered the food court, but incredibly noisy, no view and stodgy food choices. For a few dollars more we ate at Plate. We had the $16 special each which included either a glass of house wine, soft drink or a Heineken. The skewered chicken was cooked superbly and the accompanying salad was good. The salmon and crispy layers plus hint of wasabi dressing was really very good (certainly better than I have described it!). The waitress who served us was excellent value. All up $37 for two main courses including drinks, and including the $2.50 pp surcharge for Sunday and public holidays. Oh yes, quiet, shady outside table with excellent view of the harbour and people watching. Awesome value. Recommend.
