This delightful cafe in located inside the historic Queen Victoria Building (which is a beautiful destination in it's own right). Take the charming, old fashioned elevator up to the second floor (but make sure it is the elevator which is on the Druitt Street side and not the Market Street side). When I want to meet up with my friends in the city for some weekend lunch, or a coffee, this is where we go. Located on the second floor, it affords a measure of peace and tranquility, which is well away from the frantic crush of shoppers and crowds on the other levels. I think the word is out about this little gem, as we find it hard to get a free table for ourselves sometimes!! I like this cafe very much and the food is consistently good, from it's light snacks, main meals to it's delicious desserts - you just can't go wrong here!!!
