We were in sydney for the weekend form perth and I had read great reviews on jed's so decided to come here one morning before heading to see Bondi.
The cafe was bustling but we managed to score a little table at the back, was greeted straight away by friendly staff and directed to the table. Offered water and menu's straight away and asked for drink orders. This place is obviously used to being busy and they had the service perfected.
The menu was fantastic and quite different, it was 12.30pm but we still ordered breakfast and were really happy with the food. I had scrambled eggs with sprouted black quinoa, teriyaki tofu, avocado and orange segments with a soy and wasabi dressing on the side. Crazy delicious and the wasabi really hit the spot. Husband had scrambled eggs with chorizo and sourdough with spicy tomato relish, he enjoyed it very much, even asked me to make 'scrambled eggs like Jed's' the week after at home.
The atmosphere was really nice, staff were all happy and attentive, many of the customers seemed like regulars, decor was very funky and beachy, perfect for the location.
