“Authentic Italian in Sydney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Love this place, try to get there whenever down in Sydney. Great atmosphere, and very extensive menu, mostly traditional italian with a little twist here and there, but overall extremely tasty.
Service is always very efficient and helpful. Our fav is the crispy polenta with mushroom and gorgonzola cream sauce, to die for. We celebrated a family occasion there last September and booked a private space, we selected our four course menu from a very good choice of items. Every thing came out on large share platters, it was all amazing. Highly recommend this cafe/restaurant.

“Beautiful Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Too many choices, all of the menu items beautiful. You can taste the freshness and the thought that has gone into the items can be seen and tasted on the plate. Polenta chips with gorgonzola is a dream but must be shared. Staff are busy but friendly. Love it, love it, love. Highly recommended!

“Fabulous fresh food and great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

I've been to the Potts Point eatery many times over the past few years, and also the Waterloo and Walsh Bay versions more recently. They are all wonderful and provide the same great dining experience whilst maintaining their own character. The food and service has been excellent every time and it is always so hard to decide what to eat because everything sounds so nice! Entrees, mains, deserts, wines....they are all terrific! And the bill is always much less than expected...such reasonable prices. Great food without the pretentious attitude of many Sydney restaurants. Highly recommended.

“Worthwhile”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

I dine here very often due to it being one of my bfs favorite places to eat. Fratelli fresh is the grocery store and cafe sopra is upstairs in the warehouse, it makes for a very rustic and open style of dining. The wait is normally quite long, so don't go on a weekend on a starving stomach, go earlier. There's no individual menu, its all written on a communal black board. I recommend the Osso buco, smoked trout salad, Brussels sprouts salad, fish cake, lamb ragu.
