“Ferry, ferry good.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Theses are terrific, get a weekly ticket ( about $45,)which allows you travel all over Sydney on all public transport. Spend all day on the ferries. From Circle you can go everywhere at 24 knots, to wonderful destinations, take a trip all 'round the harbour...it's super value. There are pamphlets for each trip at the various stations. tickets are got from machines, get the person in the booth to help you figure out how to use them. some trips take an hour, so take coffee and sandwiches. Just be sure you know what times the ferries are coming back at if you are going to a particular destination. Cockatoo Island, Watson Bay etc etc...otherwise you'll have a long walk!!

“Zoo Ferry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We took the ferry to the Taronga Zoo, across the harbor from the Opera House. It was a quick 10 minute ride - very easy - and the ferry dropped us off a the foot of the entrance. It's a great way to see the zoo and great views of the Opera House on the way.

“Clean Efficient a Great Way to Get Around”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We used the ferry from Circular Quay to Zoo and back. It is a nice efficient way to get around. There is a combined ticket that gets you both the ferry ride and zoo admission for a roughly 10% discount per person. And, it offers some opportunities to see the Opera House from a completely different vantage point that you can get in most parts of Sydney.

We were planning to get a multiple ride pass, but decided to just do the Hop On Hop Off bus instead on this trip.

“Cruising the Harbour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

You have to take a ferry or go on Captain Cook Cruises to go to the zoo (Tarongo) in Sydney. You can hop off and on at the different stops. It is a good way to see Sydney from the water.

“Take Ferries over private cruise tours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

I would Highly recommend them over paying for a harbor cruise.

Get a multi pass and explore the entire harbor.

They offer free wifi (up to 45 minutes or 30mb) twice a day.
