“Family ideal holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

We spent four nights in a beautiful 2 bedrooms apartment that had all of my family’s high expectations more than covered. Comfortable, cosy, spacious, clean, modern, apartment with a complete kitchen. Surrounded by beautiful, lush tropical vegetation and 100 mts away from the beach. The highlight was the perfect size pool for the kids (5 and 6) with lounges under plenty of shading for watchful parents ☺ And of course, the easy access to a beautiful beach ideal for relaxing early morning walks. Thank you to the also friendly staff.

Room Tip: Ground floor apartments provide easier quicker access to the swimming pool, perfect for families of...

Great place to stay, apartment was well equipped, the kids loved the pool, friendly staff. We stayed with other family members who had their own apartments and it was great that we were all placed together & really loved our apartment as it had it's own balcony with bbq & outdoor dining table, made it easier for all of us to hang out and catch up with each other. We now have a favourite place to stay in Coffs!

Room Tip: If staying with several family members ask to have apartments close together, makes it easy to mingl...

We are family of 2 Adults + 2 Kids and stayed for a week in Room 16. The location is fantastic, short drive to Park Beach Plaza and into Coffs Central. Quiet residential area. Short walk down onto beach (although not a patrolled beach for swimming, but lovely to walk along). Loved the pool and half tennis court, use of laundry and plenty of laundry powder was provided. Reception staff very friendly and quick to attend to the water leak under the kitchen sink. Loads of kitchen /cooking utensils and equipment. Great communal BBQ facility! The corner spa in the bathroom was lovely. My only disappointment were the beds - very uncomfortable and the lounge was stained and felt dirty (need to replace). The carpet felt dirty too, and the fans in the rooms were full of dust and there was mould all over the shower curtain. The blinds were dusty/dirty and had some missing panels. With just a few cosmetic upgrades with beds, lounge, carpet, shower curtain and blinds plus a good dust, this place is an absolute gem!

Room Tip: Room 16, on the end of the building, mostly quiet, although can hear guests upstairs. Bedroom 1 wind...

accommodation was clean, bright and great to have fresh airflow. We had a few hot & humid days were the air-cond worked well. Kitchen facilities were more than adequate and rooms were spacious. pool, BBQ (well-equiped) and grounds were well-kept. under-cover parking was appreciated too. laundry was easy to use. location was very quiet and < 5 mins walk to Korora beach.

This was the seventh time we've stayed at Smugglers on the Beach, and the third Christmas we spent here - as usual, we had a great time. Very frendly place, great facilities. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are very nice.
We had a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you, Smugglers!

My husband and I have just returned from Coffs Harbour after staying here from the 27th December to 4th January in Unit 8. We travel regularly to Coffs and usually stay with family but could not on this occassion so we decided to book Smugglers (which I did not even know extisted). What a gem this place was. Our accommodation was brilliant very private and quite and had everything we needed for our 8 nights. Not only did we have a undercover car space we also had an undercover space to store our boat which was an added bonus for us. The pool and BBQ facilitys are great and a guest lanudry came in handy to. The grounds are well looked after and this facility is a stones through to the beach. I would thouroughly recommend this place to anyone. Had a fantastic holiday.

Room Tip: Request an upstairs room as it is a bit more private.

These guys were just great. We had Unit 10 for a family holiday. The apartments were dated and in need of renovation, but they were really spacious and quiet. Lovely leafy outlook and pool surrounded by plants and trees. Perfect place for a family holiday. My only complaint was that the mattress was really uncomfortable so I didn't sleep well but it was hard to complain because everything else was so great. They do try hard to please here and that sort of attitude goes a long way.

Room Tip: Unit 10 was at the end of the complex and we thought it great
