Our friends told us about this place and we had a fantastic stay. Our 2 bedroom apartment was great, had everything we needed and a beautiful view. We ate at the new restaurant each night and the food was divine. Yummy cocktails too. Nice people, very accomodating, will definately come again.

We booked a two bed unit with spa and were very pleased with the position and presentation, the owners were very helpful , and we found that it was a very child friendly place to stay, the children certainly got their moneys worth out of the indoor pool...having read some not so nice reviews we were very surprised the restaurant one of the best Ive seen...yes some parts are old but our personal experience was a good one and we will be returning....the kids had a ball. We found it restful with no highway noise, our new bed was comfy and we had a great sleep...the new bathroom was beautiful and we had everything we needed including covered parking...we stayed in unit 5.

Thank you for your positive review Jenny. We are very happy that your family enjoyed your stay with us.The two bed unit with spa was recently renovated. We have added Executive to the online room descriptions for the rooms that have been completely updated. This will make it easier for prospective guests to easily identify the renovated rooms. There will be another 4 rooms renovated after the holidays. We are always looking to improve the facilities we provide for guests. We are very proud of our restaurant & the high standard of food delivered night after night. We have a wonderful chef. Thank you once again for your review

We only stayed one night on the way to Brisbane from Sydney. We were allocated a two bedroom villa (family of six) which was basic, but met needs. Our main concern was the cleanliness of the cooking equipment and utensils. The baking dishes and oven were dirty and the crockery and cutlery was not complete (5 plates, 3 bowls, 4 forks!) to cater for the number of guests the unit could accommodate.
The carpet in the main bedroom was quite stained and the overall impression was that this unit was worn and in need of a renovation. The grounds are expansive but for an overnight stay we did not take advantage.

Thank you for your review. There is no excuse for the room not being cleaned properly & not having enough cutlery. We have made changes to our cleaning team & procedures to ensure a higher standard of cleaning in the future. The rooms are individually owned & we have been encouraging them to update their rooms. We know this no consolation for you but this room, along with a number of others is to be updated after the holidays. Feedback, good or bad, always helps us to deliver better customer service. Thank you, once again for your review

Overpriced for what we got - I booked and paid $150 for a studio room online as we would be arriving late - 11.30pm and thought a continental breakfast was included - according to the external website. We stayed elsewhere in Coffs the previous weekend for $130 a night (3 1/2 star too) so thought that reasonable, Not so - when i asked at reception in the morning he was incredulous that I thought it was included, dismissive almost to the point of rudeness.
I would have accepted that as i may have misread it, however it was adding insult to injury - the room - 33 was dirty - really, dust, dead bugs, dried leaves etc. dirty marks on the walls - particularly near the toilet (eww). It was rather like a extremely large old caravan, very basic and poorly appointed , - hard to tell if it was all dirty with poor paintwork making it look worse, in particular the kitchen and little bathroom. We had to clean our teeth, shave etc in the stainless steel kitchen sink and I thought twice about stepping into the old & tired fibreglass shower. This place needs a good clean and a total refurb - really wish I'd thought to take photos as it was very different to anything on their website.. The road noise was ridiculously loud, it was a very hot night but thankfully, with the door shut and the aircon on we slept ok,
The good points to this place - the bed was comfortable, sheets clean and the cotton cover was great, not the pillows though, only one small one each and one of those was only half filled.
The Aircon was a lifesaver.
The TV seemed ok - we didn't have it on much -weren't there long enough really.
All up - never again.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were mislead about the continental breakfast being included in your room rate. It is not mentioned on any online booking website we deal with. There is no excuse for the room being dirty. We have made changes to our cleaning team & procedures to ensure the rooms are cleaned to a higher standard. Our rooms are individually owned & we are always encouraging them to update their rooms, particularly the bathrooms. We are located on the Pacific Highway so some of our rooms are affected by road noise. That is why we have good air-conditioners so you can close the doors to minimise the noise.

It's looked great on the website and a bit of a treat for the cost for one night ($440Aus) however upon arrival we found our 2bed apartment to be right next to the road and quite noisy, which surprised me because the website gives the impression of calm and quiet. The decor is a bit tired and not very clean, the couch smelt musty and the cups and plates all needed an extra wash before using. I spoke to the man in reception that I felt the price was not right for the noise and cleanliness, which was not met with much willingness to help. They were unable to move our location as they were fully booked. I later found that the wifi didn't work either. When I checked out I reiterated my thoughts that it just wasn't up to scratch for the money and my disappointment at the noise and lack of wifi, which was met with a lack lustre apology. My main issue is that it was just too much money for the noise and cleanliness.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that the room did not meet your expectations. There is no excuse for the room not being cleaned properly. We have made changes to our cleaning team & procedures to ensure a higher standard of cleaning. We are located on the Pacific Highway so some of our rooms are affected by road noise. The school holidays make it very difficult to make any last minute room moves. If we could have moved rooms for you, it would have been done. Booking directly with us would have helped in allocating a quieter room for you. Our Wi-Fi can have problems due to our hilly location. That is why it is free. We do have a free Wi-Fi hot spot in our restaurant which is very reliable.

stayed one night 11/11/13 in no 38 well worth the money 2 bedrooms (comfy beds) well laid out good sized bathroom good hot water. good kitchen very comfortable lounge good tv great verandah weather was bad still made everything green . road noise was loud outside but fine inside. lots of roadworks makes it a bit tricky but roadworks seem to be every where these days. would suggest arriving in daylight otherwise between the roadworks and traffic could miss the turn off at night time. great stopover place

Room Tip: definitely recommend bure 38
