“Fantastic day out for family of all ages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013 via mobile

Hands down one of the best attractions in Forster.

We went out on tour with a group for a 60th which consisted of adults, a toddler & our great grandmother who is 86. Everyone enjoyed the tour so great for all ages.

Tour guide was great - provided lots of information on the sights, history & bird/sea life in forster.

We saw lots of dolphins on the tour - exciting moment for my toddler son & were fortunate to have beautiful weather.

If you have the time, go out & do this tour!

Took this cruise to watch whales & was not at all disappointed. Morning tea included. Reasonably priced. Two hour duration. Commentary very professional . Very friendly staff. Would do again.

“Whales & Dolphins & Seals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Always a great thing to do while in the Forster area. We saw a couple of whales & numerous dolphins. The boat was clean & well staffed. I thought it was a bit overpriced & this may make it unattainable for some holiday makers (especially those with families). The trip took two hours & it was commentated on the whole time. There is some interesting info on the history of the area as well as info on the whales & dolphins. We even saw seals in the ocean. There is tea & coffee served during the two hours with snacks & soft drinks available for purchase. The staff are very friendly yet very professional with safety always at the forefront of the tour.

“Amazing Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

I had the most remarkable experience on the Amaroo this morning. Not only was it the most stunning morning I was quite content when we saw the first whales in the distance. Then, I was totally mesmerised by the whales that literally played with us for such a long time. It was magic, I felt so honoured that these incredible creatures gave us such pleasure and respect. They allowed us into their world, I couldn’t believe my luck, or was it the perseverance of the Amaroo crew? Just to top it off, the oohs and ahs from the toddlers aboard was the icing on the cake. I was too enthralled and a little emotional to take any photos; hopefully others did and will post them. Kerry, the commentary is amazing and knowledgeable, just a perfect cruise.
It was a morning that will be in heart forever, thx Matt.
