I went with my partner and another couple that we know. Upon first entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted and seated right away. The waitress gave us plenty of assistance with the menu and was more than happy to tailor our meals to suit our needs. We ended up getting the Mosab plates ($22 per person) which comes out on 1 large plate between 2 people. There was plenty of food and it was absolutely incredible! Being vegan, I can have a lot of trouble ordering a variety of food when dining out but this place has lots of vegetable dishes and lentil dishes as well as plenty of meat choices for non-vegans. I had red lentils, mixed vegetables, yellow lentils, pumpkin, and zucchini/green beans. All of the dishes were spiced amazingly and all with a unique flavour. We could not get enough! I never have dessert usually but I had to try some of their homemade sorbet (about $7.90). I had a bowl of pineapple and coconut sorbet. OMG I had to squeeze it in! Funnily enough, the others ate all of their meat dishes in a second and were then after my gorgeous vegie and lentil dishes! The injera bread is to die for and comes with the large plates. Honestly, the service was wonderful and very genuine. This is our number 1 eat-out and takeaway treat now, it has overtaken Rama's! It is BYO and to save on corkage you pour your own drinks. They were very helpful and happy to give us an ice bucket for wine, free of charge. They also have a room out the back where you can have large groups. Their ethiopian coffee is supposed to be amazing and they sell bags of there so that you can make it yourself at home.
