“Stayed 5 Weeks Mon-Fri. Would I stay Again?”

I was here for 5 weeks for work/business
First I will start with the positives of this property:

HOTEL:
Staff where helpful and friendly, especially Luke who was on the afternoon reception time. Another guy was good too who when i asked to have the same room each week- managed to do this 4 out of the 5 weeks I was there.
First 3 weeks- room was quiet and no issues. Cleaner actually put the spare blanket on my bed when they saw i was using it, which i thought was nice.
Room was large, had a sink, extra area where i could put my bag. Clean sheets. The first set of photo's show this room, the 2nd are the room that I stayed in on my 4th week. I also have shown some delicious deserts from an Italian restraunt at Dickson.
FOOD:
It was literally 2 minute walk to Dickson where you had all types of food and prices. Anywhere from takeaway chicken to top Italian restraunt. They also have a labour club which wasn't too bad depending on what you chose. For an interstator you pay $1 to join as a member. Woolworths is there also and opened to 12 each night. Several petrol stations. Your usual KFC & McDonalds too- as a lone Female felt safe going here at night for my tea.
TRANSPORT:
Was brilliant, I don't normally do Public Transport but on the main Rd, 1 minute walk the Buses were always within 2minutes of each other to take you to City Interchange/Bus Depot. Sometimes they were even 10-20 seconds apart. Never had a problem getting to and from the hotel, learnt my first week not to bother catching a taxi to hotel after work as it saved me $13 Fare and it was easy getting on the bus with luggage as they have luggage areas at the front of all buses.

Breakfast was great and a lot of things for the continental b/f as well as for $5 extra you could have a cooked b/f

Price was also exceptional as i used a site that I could make an offer each week. 1st week $95 p.n 2nd-5th week they would accept my $85 p.n even when parliament was sitting.

THE NEGATIVES:
The cleaners really need to take a course in how to clean properly. It was fairly grimey in places and you could see the difference in two rooms I stayed. The 1st room was just acceptable the 2nd room they had not even cleaned the makeup of the bench in the bathroom b4 I booked in (Also i kept finding the cleaners hair everywhere and my last night the room wasn't even done, just my blankets folded back). They also did not seem to care about vacuuming dried mud from the hallways.
No Hairdryer (this is unusual in Australia-and i have travelled well)
Only a Kettle, however a friend stayed in the opposite wing and she had a microwave. So depends on your room
THE NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in the 4-5th week is the reason I will not book here again when i return in August. As my room was on the opposite end of the hotel there seemed to be a door people could go in and out to the carpark. People constantly went in and out- e.g Monday nite- 10pm yelling and carrying on down the hall, 2am same thing, 6am again & then 1/2hr later an argument in carpark in another language. This would be o.k once but happened every single night until i had enough at 4.30am in the morning-opened my door and told the woman to get back to her room and talk- she did ;0) It seemed alot of workman use this hotel.
The 2nd room they gave me had cracks in the ceiling and seemed run down- that week a friend stayed and her room was total opposite. So really depends what room you are given.

It is a good hotel if you are trying to save money and may be working there. I am not sure if it would be the best family style hotel but it was o.k.
