“National Zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

zoos anywhere are on my must see list but I am very impressed with how good this zoo is. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family and it is reasonably priced. they have wonderful plans for expansion and making your visit even better. A must to go to in Canberra

“Pretty impressive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

The big thing I got from this zoo is the clear passion the zookeepers have. The access to the animals is also very impressive

“Good to kill time if need be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Compared to other zoo's there isnt alot to see. Cost wasn't to bad but if you are attending as a big family it will cost you $$$. There arent really any toilets along the way except for portaloos!!

While it was good to walk along a concrete path, there didnt seem to be a logical path to take and you ended up doubling back on yourself.

the Aquariam was not worth it. very limited fish and total waste of time.

If you need to kill an hour (max 2) this would be a good place to go.

“Pricy but fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Fed a giraffe for $10. Patted a dingo and kangeroos, held a snake, got pecked by emus, teased some monkeys.
Updated walking tracks are great.
Should have a local discount for us locals that want to visit every other week.
Best tourist attraction in canberra.
