I was there for a major industry event during Parliamentary sitting and this meant that either hotels were full, or the price was exorbitant.
The Bentley was excellent value and the location is very central - close to Parliament House and Manuka for those who want a social life.
The rooms are not a design statement but are very spacious, comfortable and practical.
Can't fault anything in this hotel.
The hotel was full and I had no problem with any noise.

We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment on the ground floor which was very spacious, plenty of room for our two young children to spread out. The bedrooms are near the road and we found it to be really noisy, sleeping was a problem. Also the noise from the apartment above us didn't help - we heard every shower, toilet flush and tap turn on, not a problem during the day but at 11.30pm bit annoying.

Kitchen has oven, microwave, fridge and some utensils, could definitely do with new kettle and toaster. Laundry has washing machine and dryer - bit temperamental, would only run for about 15 mins at a time.
Furniture tired and worn but ok.
No DVD player so kids were a bit disappointed that they couldn't watch their movies.

Convenient location, 5 mins from Manuka shops and supermarket.

Stayed here with my young adult daughter. The 2 bedroom suites come with 2 bathrooms which was a wonderful option for us. We asked for, and received, a quiet room but as others have stated the suites situated on a higher level presented a challenge for carrying up our luggage. The suite was attractively furnished and very clean. A very real problem though was that the blackout curtains were too narrow for my bedroom window and as the courtyard is floodlit, the room was too light at night to be comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful (no offer to help with luggage, though!).

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the top floor. Secure basement parking, fairly nice unit with kitchen and laundry facilities and a corner spa.There is also a small north facing courtyard that doesnt have any views.

The worst thing though is if you are on the top floor, there is no lift, only stairs. So if you come from your car in the basement, you have to walk up a total of 7 flights of stairs! It doesn't sound like much, but when you have to do it several times with luggage, it is not much fun. If you are on the top floor, make sure that you are fairly fit,or happy to have a workout every time you return from your car.
