“Amazing building and educational”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

What a lucky country we live in. This shows how democracy works and everyone has a right to be heard. The guides were very informative and had some wonderful information to pass on.

“The full bench”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

It's an easy walk from many of the other sights on the southern side of Lake Burly Griffin, e.g. National Gallery, Questacon, National Library, which are all along the lakeside bike track. You are able to enter the courtrooms and actually see the full bench of our highest court in session - 30 minutes is probably enough though unless it's on a subject that intrigues you.

“Interesting building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Grand 1970s architecture and interior that strangely doesn't seem dated inside. Grand atrium is very impressive and galleries offer nice view of Lake Burley Griffin. The 3 court rooms seem to be open on rotation but you can just see a glimpse through the door of the closed ones. Informative guides shared as much information as you needed without making it boring. Worth a 30minute or so visit.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

Impressive. The guides are very informative and I like how you can go into the court chambers quite freely.
Great sense of history of the judicial system and very interesting indeed.

“A good place for foreigners”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

The first "tourist spot" I went to after I moved to Canberra. It's a pretty good place for foreigners to get to know the system quickly.
