I am not especially into a history of war but this memorial and museum was both fascinating and moving. Walking around the manicured grounds with fragments of battleships, cannons and sculptures led to a huge noble building . Within the walls the dioramas, weapons, large planes and submarines suspended in the air, cabinets filled with memorabilia and moments of a soldiers life, art work large and small , the beautiful photos , all together grasped a time not to be forgotten. I thoroughly recommend a visit to this memorial and do allow a few hours to do so.
